General London Transport Information
Public transport in London works on zones - the centre is zone
one, the most expensive zone. Other zones are concentric, out
to zone six.
A one day pass for all public transport, zones one to four,
costs £4.50, or £7 to start before 0930.
We recommend that you get an A-Z style map of London, if you
don't have one, and familiarize yourself with the area around
EXCEL.
The
Transport For London Journey Planner can be used to plan
journeys on public transport
around London. You can call them on +44 (0)20 7222 1234.
