Nottingham will host the next Anti-Militarist Network gathering on the weekend of 11th-12th July. The conference will be held in the Sumac Centre, an autonomous social centre in the Forest Fields district just north of the city centre, with space available for parallel workshops at a nearby housing co-op.
Catering will be provided by Veggies catering campaign and local volunteers. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights there will be crash-space at the housing co-op, and limited accommodation at the homes of local activists. There will be some kind of musical entertainment at the Sumac Centre on the Saturday night. Delegates to the gathering will be asked for a small donation to help cover costs.
For anyone who wants to stay until the Monday, there will be a demonstration against local arms company Heckler & Koch, details TBA.
Notts Anti-Militarism will be co-ordinating local arrangements. Please contact this e-mail address with any questions, information, problems, requirements, etc.
